"The warmth and friendship of the Reunion was something both my wife and I will always remember. The last time I saw those chaps was in 1964 and it seems like yesterday. Listening to some of the “events of those years” I really have to wonder if we were all at the same place. My wife (finally!) believes that we used to bathe once per week and change underwear twice per week! She was a bit apprehensive when we checked in, Robert’s greeting and the “Call to the bar!” really broke the ice for her and she now wonders what has happened to the so called English reserve and all that. To be honest she has insisted that we come again next year and has “instructed” Andrew and Manos to bring their wives.

Other small points ---- did anyone notice that at the dinner each person ate with their elbows at their sides and not touching their neighbours? Memories of the Dining Hall. Plus much to the amazement of the servers, the small bowls of butter were greeted with loud laughter." Bill StAubyn September 2009.
